Ripple Wave Baby Blanket

Finally my brother has asked me to make a baby blanket to gift to his best man, who is going to be dad. I have been waiting for my brother to ask me to make a blanket for him to gift to the parents. My brother asked me when I annouced on my instagram that I finished the Ubuntu CAL. I soon shot to it and said yes I will. I found a pattern I love. Cheery Ripple Wave by Pip Lincolne.

I used stylecraft dk special yarn. I can not remember the names of the colours I used as I threw the labels away. I know one was aster and another was turquoise, the obvious one is white. I’m sure some stylecraft fanatics and probably guess the colours. The pattern didn’t have a border, but insaw on Instagram that some people used a border and u was debating whether to or not. In the end I decided to as it looks finished off and completed. I did a round of double crochet (single for us terms) and then I did the crab stitch. Something simple that didn’t take away the focus of the main blanket pattern.
